POCO M6 Plus 5G India Launch on Cards; Expected Timeline and Features

POCO is expected to launch a new M-series phone dubbed the POCO M6 Plus 5G soon in India. The device with model number 24065PC95I was spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standard certification, hinting at an imminent launch. Here's what to expect from the POCO M6 Plus.

POCO M6 Plus 5G: What to Expect?

The BIS listing doesn't reveal anything regarding the specifications of the upcoming POCO M6 Plus 5G. Earlier a report suggested the phone could be the rebranded version of the Redmi Note 13R, which was announced this month in China. So, we can expect the POCO M6 Plus 5G might offer the same set of specifications as the Redmi Note 13R.

To recall, the Note 13R was launched with a 6.79-inch (1080x2460 pixels) display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of onboard storage.

The Redmi Note 13R has a dual rear camera system housing a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary camera sensor. For selfies, it gets an 8MP front-facing camera. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and also packs a 5,030 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

The exact launch timeline of the POCO M6 Plus 5G is still unknown at this moment. It is expected to go official next month. If it turns out to be true, POCO will soon start teasing the arrival of the POCO M6 Plus 5G.
