POCO M7 5G Launched in India with Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 and 50MP Camera—Check Price and Specs

POCO has introduced the M7 5G in India, adding another budget-friendly 5G smartphone to its lineup. The device brings a 120Hz display, a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, and a 50MP Sony camera, while keeping the pricing aggressive to compete in the entry-level 5G market.

Display and Performance

The 6.88-inch HD+ display on the POCO M7 5G comes with a 120Hz refresh rate, promising smoother scrolling and better visuals. It also features triple TUV certification, reducing strain during long hours of use.

Under the hood, the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset powers the device, offering a decent balance of efficiency and performance. The phone comes in 6GB and 8GB RAM options, with an expandable RAM feature that allows up to 12GB of virtual RAM.

Cameras and Software Support

The POCO M7 5G features a 50MP Sony IMX852 primary sensor, paired with a secondary lens. The 8MP front camera is placed inside a notch, handling selfies and video calls.

On the software side, the phone runs Android 14 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS, with POCO committing to two years of Android updates and four years of security patches.
