Poco M7 Plus 5G Launched in India With 7,000mAh Battery and Snapdragon 6s Gen 3: Check Price, Specs, Features

Poco has added another model to its M7 series in India — the Poco M7 Plus 5G. The standout feature is its 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, which not only supports 33W fast charging but can also reverse charge other devices at 18W.

According to the company, it’s the largest battery yet in this price range, and it joins the existing Poco M7 5G and M7 Pro 5G in the lineup.

Display and Build

The M7 Plus 5G features a 6.9-inch Full HD+ display (1,080×2,340 pixels) with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 288Hz touch sampling rate. It reaches up to 850 nits of peak brightness and carries TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light, flicker-free use, and circadian standards. The phone also has an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance, weighs 217g, and measures 8.4mm thick.

Hardware and Performance

Under the hood, you’ll find Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, which can be virtually expanded to 16GB. Storage is UFS 2.2, with up to 256GB available. The device runs on Android 15 with HyperOS 2.0, and Poco promises two years of major OS updates along with four years of security patches.

Cameras and Imaging

The rear setup includes a 50-megapixel main camera alongside a secondary sensor, while the front houses an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. Video recording is supported at up to 1080p at 30fps.

Battery and Charging

Its 7,000mAh battery is one of the main talking points, offering 33W wired charging and the ability to reverse charge accessories or other phones at 18W. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi, GPS, and a USB-C port. For security, there’s a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Pricing and Availability

The phone starts at ₹13,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant, while the 8GB + 256GB option costs ₹14,999. It comes with a ₹1,000 discount for HDFC, ICICI, and SBI card users, or if you trade in your old device.

Sales begin August 19 on Flipkart, and buyers will have three color options — Aqua Blue, Carbon Black, and Chrome Silver.
