POCO is gearing up to launch a new smartphone soon in India. A dedicated microsite has already gone live on Flipkart, confirming its availability. While the brand has yet to disclose the moniker, a new report reveals POCO will launch the M7 Plus smartphone in the country.

The official teaser on Flipkart features Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar holding the phone. The bold tagline "Power for All" hints that the upcoming device could boast a large battery.

91mobiles has learnt from industry sources that the upcoming phone will be the POCO M7 Plus, which will launch in India on August 13. According to the report, the device will be a rebranded version of the Redmi 15 and is expected to be priced under ₹15,000.

POCO M7 Plus - What to Expect?

Tipster Sanju Choudhary has revealed the specifications of the upcoming POCO M7 Plus. The phone is expected to feature a large 6.9-inch FHD+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset. For imaging, it may offer a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP secondary lens. Upfront, it will opt for an 8MP selfie camera.

Moreover, the POCO M7 Plus is tipped to pack a massive 7,000mAh battery, which will support 33W fast charging. Additionally, the phone is expected to come with an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.
