Poco M8s 5G Launched With 50MP Camera, 7,000mAh Battery And 144Hz Display: Check Price, Features

Poco has introduced the M8s 5G in select global markets as part of its budget lineup. The phone is available via Xiaomi’s online store and comes in two storage variants and two colour options.

Price And Availability

The Poco M8s 5G starts at $189 (roughly Rs. 18,000) for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model. An 8GB + 256GB variant is also available at $219 (around Rs. 20,000). These are early bird prices, which may change later.

The phone is offered in Black and White colour options.

Display And Performance

The device features a 6.9-inch Full-HD+ display with support for up to 144Hz refresh rate on select apps. It also offers up to 288Hz touch sampling rate and up to 850 nits peak brightness, along with TÜV Rheinland certifications.

It is powered by a Snapdragon 6 series chipset, paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. Storage can be expanded up to 2TB via a microSD card. The phone runs on HyperOS 2 based on Android 15.

Camera And Battery

The Poco M8s 5G includes a dual rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel sensor, along with an additional secondary camera. It also features an 8-megapixel front camera.

A key highlight is the 7,000mAh battery, which supports 33W wired charging and 18W wired reverse charging.

Other Features

The phone supports 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, and comes with an IP64 rating. It also includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and an IR blaster.
