Poco X6 Neo India Launch Expected For Next Week; Better Than Competition?

Poco will soon be launching the Poco X6 Neo in India. The upcoming handset will join the existing Poco X6 and the Poco X6 Pro models.

The smartphone is expected to be the rebranded version of the Redmi Note 13R Pro, which was announced last year in China. If it turns out to be true, the Poco X6 Neo will arrive with a 108MP primary camera sensor, a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC, a 120Hz OLED panel, and much more.

Poco X6 India Launch Confirmed

Beyond the existence of the Poco X6 Neo, the brand did not disclose anything. However, the recent tweet shared by POCO India's head Himanshu Tandon hinted the upcoming smartphone will compete against the recently launched Realme 12 5G.

The post says that the Dimensity 6100+ SoC and an LCD screen are red flags for Rs 17,000, which indicates the Realme 12 5G. He further mentions that the company uses MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ in the POCO M6 5G, which is priced under Rs 10K.

Poco X6: Better than Competition?

The upcoming Poco X6 Neo will likely feature a 6.67-inch (1,080x2,400 pixels) OLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate. The MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC is expected to be coupled with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.

The phone might offer a dual rear camera system comprising a 108MP primary camera and a 2MP camera. For selfies, the Poco X6 Neo could feature a 16MP front camera sensor. Other features might include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

As far as the price is concerned, the Poco X6 Neo is expected to come under Rs 16,000 in the country, giving an affordable choice to consumers. To note, the competitor Realme 12 5G starts at Rs 16,999.

Alongside, the upcoming Poco phone will compete against the recently launched Lava Blaze Curve 5G. The device falls above the Rs 16,000 segment; however, features like a curved display and Stock Android experience make it worth buying.
