Poco X8 Pro Series Launched in India, Packs Up to 9,000mAh Battery: Check Price, Specs, and Offers

Poco has launched its new X8 Pro series in India, introducing three models: the Poco X8 Pro 5G, Poco X8 Pro Max 5G, and a special Poco X8 Pro Iron Man Edition. The lineup focuses on large batteries, fast charging, and updated internals across price points.

The devices will be available for purchase starting March 23 at 12 pm IST via Flipkart.

Pricing

The Poco X8 Pro 5G is priced in India at ₹32,999 for the base 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, while the 12GB RAM option costs ₹35,999. It is available in Black, White, and Green colour options.

The Poco X8 Pro Max 5G, on the other hand, starts at ₹42,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, going up to ₹46,999 for the 12GB RAM and 512GB model. This variant comes in Black, White, and Blue shades.

The Poco X8 Pro Iron Man Edition is priced at ₹34,999 for the single 12GB + 256GB configuration.

As part of launch offers, buyers can get up to ₹3,000 instant discount using SBI, ICICI, and HDFC Bank cards.

Display And Software

Both smartphones run on Xiaomi’s Android 16-based HyperOS 3.

The Poco X8 Pro Max 5G features a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 3,500 nits peak brightness, and 3,840Hz PWM dimming.

Meanwhile, the Poco X8 Pro 5G gets a slightly smaller 6.59-inch AMOLED display with the same refresh rate and resolution standard.

Poco says both phones come with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.

Performance And Hardware

The Poco X8 Pro Max 5G is powered by a 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset, paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage.

The Poco X8 Pro 5G, on the other hand, uses a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor, with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

Both models feature Poco’s 3D Ice Loop cooling system, although the Pro Max gets a larger 5,800 sq mm heat dissipation area compared to 5,300 sq mm on the Pro model. The Pro Max variant also includes an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.

Cameras And Video

The Poco X8 Pro series uses a dual rear camera setup on both devices.

You get a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS, along with an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera offering a 120-degree field of view.

On the front, both phones feature a 20-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. Video recording goes up to 4K at 60 fps.

Battery And Charging

Battery capacity is one of the main differences between the two models.

The Poco X8 Pro Max 5G packs a 9,000mAh battery, while the Poco X8 Pro 5G comes with a 6,500mAh unit.

Both devices support 100W wired fast charging and 27W wired reverse charging.

According to the company, the Pro Max can deliver over three days of moderate usage, more than 18 days of standby time, or up to 30 hours of online video playback on a single charge.
