POCO X8 Pro Series Set To Launch In India On March 17: Design And Key Specs Revealed
POCO has confirmed the launch date for its upcoming POCO X8 Pro series.

The company announced that the lineup will launch on March 17, with the event taking place online and streamed through mi.com. The launch will be held for both global and Indian markets on the same day.
The series will include two models: POCO X8 Pro and POCO X8 Pro Max.
First Look At The Design
POCO has already shared teaser images showing the design of both devices.
The POCO X8 Pro appears in a white colour option and features a pill-shaped camera module on the rear. The module houses two camera sensors, with an LED flash positioned beside it. The sensors appear slightly raised from the back panel. The power and volume buttons are placed along the right edge of the device.
Meanwhile, the POCO X8 Pro Max has been revealed in a black colour variant. It also uses a pill-shaped camera module with two sensors, though the module sits slightly raised from the surface. A dual LED flash is positioned next to the camera unit.
Chipsets Already Confirmed
POCO has also revealed the processors powering the upcoming devices.
The POCO X8 Pro will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset. The POCO X8 Pro Max, on the other hand, will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s.
Expected Specifications
While POCO has only confirmed a few details so far, additional specifications for both models have surfaced through leaks shared online.
According to tipster Sanju Choudhary, the POCO X8 Pro could feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, paired with the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset. The device is also tipped to include a 6500mAh battery with 100W charging, a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary camera with an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 20MP front camera. The phone may also include a Dynamic Ring with multicolored LEDs and carry an IP68/IP69 rating.
The POCO X8 Pro Max, on the other hand, is tipped to feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset. The device could pack a 9000mAh battery with 100W charging, along with a 50MP Light Fusion 600 main camera and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. A 20MP selfie camera and an IP68/IP69 rating are also mentioned in the leak.
Since these details are based on leaks, the final specifications will only be confirmed during the official launch event.
POCO is likely to tease more details about the series in the days leading up to the March 17 announcement.
