POCO X8 Pro Series Specifications

Poco has already confirmed the primary hardware for both models, while leaving several features for the event. The Poco X8 Pro Max is built around the Dimensity 9500s chipset and houses an 8,500mAh battery. The Poco X8 Pro uses a Dimensity 8500-Ultra processor with a 6,500mAh battery. Poco states that both phones support 100W HyperCharge fast charging. The Poco X8 Pro Max further offers 27W reverse charging, so the device can charge accessories or other phones.

Leaked specifications suggest the POCO X8 Pro series will emphasise smooth, high refresh rate displays. The POCO X8 Pro is tipped to feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display running at 120Hz. The POCO X8 Pro Max is expected to include a larger 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED panel, also with a 120Hz refresh rate.

Design leaks show the POCO X8 Pro Max in black, carrying a pill-shaped camera module that holds two sensors. This camera island stands slightly above the rear panel, with a dual LED flash placed beside the lenses. For the POCO X8 Pro, leaks indicate a Dynamic Ring with multicoloured LEDs on the back, adding a visual effect to the body.

Camera details for the POCO X8 Pro series have also surfaced online. The POCO X8 Pro is said to use a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor with an 8MP ultrawide camera. On the front, leaks point to a 20MP selfie camera. The POCO X8 Pro Max is tipped to feature a 50MP Light Fusion 600 main sensor, again paired with an 8MP ultrawide lens, while keeping the 20MP front camera. Both POCO X8 Pro series models are rumoured to include IP68 and IP69 ratings, which would indicate resistance to dust and water.
