Samsung is all set to unveil its flagship phablet Galaxy Note 8 on August 23.
Samsung is all set to unveil its flagship phablet Galaxy Note 8 on August 23, which is just four days away. Earlier this week a source claimed that the device could go on sale from August 24.

A Reddit moderator confirmed that the source is a Best Buy employee. However, reliable tipster Evan Blass has something different to say. According to him, only pre-registration for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will start from August 24. While the phablet will be available for purchase starting from September 15. You should also keep in mind that the Galaxy Note 8 will make its debut in the US.
So only US residents will be able to pre-order the phablet from August 24. Evan Blass has not revealed its release date in other regions. So in India, we might have to wait for at least a couple of months to get our hands on the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
Well, the tipster has given some additional information that will make customers happy. Those who will pre-order the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will receive a 256GB microSD card along with an wireless charger for free. In addition, they can also avail a free Gear 360 camera. You can choose whether you want the former combo or the Samsung Gear 360 camera. Sounds like a good deal doesn't it!
As for the authenticity of this information, Evan Blass hardly goes wrong with his leaks. Also, it is not unusual for a giant like Samsung to offer freebies with its flagship devices. However, if you are still skeptical, you can wait until an official announcement.
