Chinese startup Qiku had confirmed that they will foraying into the India market earlier this month. And now the company has sent out invites for the launch of their upcoming Q series smartphones - Qiku Terra 808 and Qiku Terra 810 - on 27th November.
Qiku is a fairly new company which was formed early in 2014 in collaboration with Chinese Internet company Qihoo 360 and smartphone OEM Coolpad. Apparently Coolpad has already entered the Indian market early this year with their Dazen and Note series of smartphone.

The metal clad Q series devices i.e. Terra 808 and Terra 810 offers a great value for money thanks to the top of the line specs and a fuss free 360 OS. Furthermore Qiku claims that their phone allow users to make mobile payments without worrying about security as they use dedicated VPN for payment apps.
The Qiku Terra 810 sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa core SoC with cores clocked at 2.0GHz each. This is coupled with an Adreno 330 GPU and 4GB of RAM. The device further boasts a 6 inch QHD (2560x1440p) display upfront along with an 8MP front facing snapper.
Qiku has managed to keep the bezels of the Terra 810 to as low as 1.7mm. The USP of the Qiku Terra 810 however lies in the dual 13MP camera on the back. Unlike devices using 13MP+2MP dual rear camera setup of the Qiku Terra 810 uses a 13MP+13MP units.
Furthermore the 13MP units are sourced from Sony use IMX278 f/1.8 and IMX214 f/1.8 respectively. To power the power hungry Snapdragon 810 SoC is a 3700mAh Li-Poly battery which can supposedly last through a day of use. There is also a fingerprint sensor at the back of the device.
The Qiku Terra 808 on the other hand shares the same externals as its bigger siblings. The difference however lies in the fact that its uses a Snapdragon 808 hexa core SoC (instead of Snapdragon 810 octa core SoC0, 3GB of RAM (instead of 4GB) and 16GB of internal storage (instead of 32GB).
