Realme 12x 5G Budget 5G Phone Launching in India at 12 noon Today: What to Expect?

Realme is gearing up to unveil a new budget flagship smartphone in India today. The Realme 12x 5G is being teased as the 'entry-level 5G killer', suggesting it will offer excellent value for money.

Realme has already confirmed several specifications of its upcoming affordable 5G phone. According to the Realme 12x 5G's microsite on Flipkart, it will offer significant upgrades across the board over the Realme 11x 5G.

Realme 12x 5G India Launch, Expected Price

The Realme 12x 5G is launching in India later today at 12 noon. Following its launch the handset will be available for purchase via Flipkart. Moreover, the company will host an early bird sale for the Realme 12x 5G after today's launch, between 06:00 pm to 08:00 pm (IST).

The company also previously confirmed that the Realme 12x 5G price in India will start from below Rs 12,000. For comparison, the Realme 11x 5G fetched a starting price of Rs 14,999 at the time of its launch.

Additionally, the Flipkart microsite for the Realme 12x 5G confirms key specifications of the handset. This suggests that the phone will offer quite a few differences over its Chinese counterpart.

Realme 12x 5G: What we know so far!

The Flipkart page confirms that the Realme 12x 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC. It will also offer a VC cooling system for better sustained performance. The phone comes with a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.

Moreover, the Realme 12x 5G sports a 6.72-inch FHD+ IPS LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 950 nits. The phone will also come with dual stereo speakers. It runs Android 14-based Realme UI on top. For optics, the Realme 12x 5G features a 50 MP AI rear camera setup.

The Realme 12x 5G also boasts an IP54 rating for resistance to splashes of water and dust. Moreover, the phone also supports Rainwater Smart Touch, Air Gestures, and will incorporate a Dynamic Button.
