Realme 14 Pro Spotted on Geekbench With Dimensity 7300 and 8GB RAM; Triple Flash Camera Teased

Realme is preparing to launch its 14 Pro series in January 2025. While the company hasn't disclosed the exact date, several details have surfaced, providing insights into its design, features, and specifications. The series introduces some upgrades, including a new flashlight system for low-light photography and improved internal hardware.

A New Approach to Low-Light Photography

Realme's 14 Pro series will include what the company calls a "triple flash camera." This setup is designed to offer enhanced lighting for photos taken in dim conditions. Although specific details about the implementation are limited, this feature could improve the clarity of night photography by providing better illumination.

Camera Specifications: Leaked Details

The Realme 14 Pro might feature a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a 26.6mm focal length, and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS), based on information from the Camera FV-5 database. For those who frequently use the front camera, it could include a 16MP sensor with an f/2.4 aperture and EIS.

Geekbench Reveals Processing Power

The Realme 14 Pro has appeared on Geekbench, confirming its use of the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset. This octa-core processor features four performance cores clocked at 2.50 GHz and four efficiency cores at 2.00 GHz, offering a balance of speed and power efficiency.

In benchmark tests, the device scored 1,006 points in the single-core test and 2,962 in the multi-core test. These scores indicate solid performance for tasks like multitasking, gaming, and general app usage. The phone also includes an ARM Mali-G615 MC2 GPU, 8GB of RAM, and Android 15, likely paired with Realme UI 6.0.

Design and Build

From hands-on reports, the Realme 14 Pro+ variant stands out with its 6.83-inch quad-curved AMOLED display, offering a 120Hz refresh rate and PWM dimming technology. This ensures smoother visuals and reduced eye strain. The device is rated IP69 for dust and water resistance and has TÜV Rheinland certification for protection against drops. It is slim, with bezels measuring just 1.6mm and an overall thickness of less than 8mm.

Color Options and Configurations

The Realme 14 Pro series will be available in two finishes: Suede Grey and Pearl White, the latter featuring a unique finish that changes color in cooler temperatures. Storage options are expected to include 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+512GB configurations, providing flexibility for different user needs.

Pricing and Availability

The Realme 13 Pro series, launched in 2024, started at ₹26,999 for the base 8GB+256GB model. While pricing for the 14 Pro series hasn't been confirmed, it's expected to be in a similar range. Realme will likely sell the devices through Flipkart and other retail channels starting from 13th January.
