Realme 15T 5G Launching in India Today: How to Watch the Livestream? Check Full Specifications and Price
Realme is bringing another addition to its mid-range lineup today with the launch of the Realme 15T 5G in India. Positioned as the successor to the Realme 14T 5G from earlier this year, the phone focuses on a mix of design, battery life, and AI-powered features. Here’s a quick look at what’s coming.

How to Watch the Launch
The Realme 15T 5G launch event goes live today, September 2, at 12 pm IST. If you want to catch it in real time, you can tune in on Realme India’s YouTube channel or their social media handles.
Price and Availability in India
Realme has hinted that the 15T 5G will be priced below ₹20,000, but reports suggest the full lineup could stretch higher depending on configuration. The phone is tipped to come in three versions:
- 8GB + 128GB: ₹20,999
- 8GB + 256GB: ₹22,999
- 12GB + 256GB: ₹24,999
It’ll be sold through Flipkart, Realme’s online store, and offline retailers. Buyers will get a choice of three finishes: Flowing Silver, Silk Blue, and Suit Titanium.
Display and Design
The Realme 15T sports a 6.57-inch 4R Comfort+ AMOLED display with up to 4,000 nits peak brightness. That’s paired with 2,160Hz PWM dimming, 10-bit color support, and a 93% screen-to-body ratio. The design is highlighted by a textured matte back created with microcrystalline lithography, which should give it a more premium feel compared to glossy alternatives.
Performance and Software
Under the hood, the phone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Max 5G chipset, paired with Realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15. Realme is promising three years of OS updates and four years of security patches, which is becoming a critical selling point as buyers look for longer support cycles.
The phone also leans on AI with tools like AI Edit Genie, AI Snap Mode, and AI Landscape, aimed at improving photo editing and capture experiences.
Cameras
For photography, the Realme 15T 5G features a 50MP primary rear camera paired with another supporting sensor, while the front gets a 50MP selfie camera. Both front and rear cameras are said to support 4K video recording, which could appeal to creators looking for flexible shooting options in this price range.
Battery and Charging
The standout spec here is the 7,000mAh battery. That’s notably larger than what most mid-range phones offer right now. Realme claims the phone can handle 13 hours of gaming, 25 hours of YouTube playback, or over 128 hours of Spotify streaming. It supports fast wired charging and even 10W reverse charging, turning the phone into a makeshift power bank if needed.
Durability
Despite the large battery, Realme says the phone remains relatively slim at 7.79mm and weighs 181g. It also comes with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, which is more extensive than the usual splash resistance many mid-rangers settle for.
