Realme 16 5G Sale in India Starts at 12 PM Today via Flipkart: Check Price, Specifications, Offers
The Realme 16 5G is set to go on sale in India for the first time today. To recall, the Realme 16 5G made its debut last week as the third smartphone in the series, following the launch of the Realme 16 Pro and 16 Pro+. The Realme 16 5G arrives with a massive silicon carbon battery, a new and improved design, a MediaTek chipset, and a 50MP front and rear camera.

The Realme 16 5G will go on sale in India at 12 pm (IST) today via Flipkart and realme.com as well as other partner retailers across the country. The Realme 16 5G price in India starts from Rs 31,999 for the base 8GB/128GB model.

It also comes in 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB configurations priced at Rs 33,999 and Rs 36,999, respectively. Buyers can also avail a Rs. 2,000 bank-based discount or an exchange bonus of Rs 6,000.
Realme 16 5G Specifications
The Realme 16 5G features a 6.57-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 4,200 nits, which aims to improve outdoor readability. Realme has also included a 3,000Hz instant touch sampling rate, designed to make gestures and taps feel more responsive.
On the rear, the Realme 16 5G carries a 50-megapixel main camera paired with a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor. Next to the camera module sits a small reflective patch that Realme describes as a "selfie mirror", allowing users to line up shots while using the primary camera.
The Realme 16 5G also includes a 50-megapixel front camera for those who prefer conventional selfies. Power comes from a 7,000mAh battery with 60W wired charging and reverse charging support, rated by Realme for up to 1,600 charging cycles, which targets longer usable battery life.
Software on the Realme 16 5G is Android 16 with Realme UI 7.0, and Realme has promised three Android version upgrades plus four years of security patches. Other hardware highlights include IP69 protection, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 and an in-display fingerprint sensor, rounding out the specification sheet.
