The Realme 16 Pro series will include the Realme 16 Pro and Realme 16 Pro Plus. While there's no official launch date, reports suggest the two phones will make their debut in India and globally on January 6, 2026.
While no details on pricing have been established yet, we expect the Realme 16 Pro price in India to start from under Rs 30,000. Moreover, the Relame 16 Pro+ price in India will start from under Rs 35,000, with both phones receiving a minor price hike over the Realme 15 series.
Realme 16 Pro Series: What We Know So Far!
The Realme 16 Pro is expected to use a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. The display resolution is likely 2772×1272 pixels, which places it well above basic Full HD panels. Additionally, the Realme 16 Pro series will also feature a Snapdragon chip that is more powerful than the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC.
On the imaging side, leaks point to a 200MP primary rear camera paired with an 8MP ultra-wide lens. At the front, the Realme 16 Pro is tipped to feature a 50MP selfie camera. This marks a major change from the Realme 15 Pro, which offered 50MP sensors for the main, ultra-wide and front cameras.

Battery capacity is another key highlight, with the Realme 16 Pro expected to carry a 7,000mAh unit. Support for 80W wired fast charging is also likely, continuing Realme's push for quick top-ups in the mid-range space. Such a large battery could appeal to users who game often or stream for long periods.
Early promotional material hints at a slim profile, curved edges and a back panel with a golden finish. Leaks claim the Realme 16 Pro measures about 7.75mm thick and weighs around 192g. The design approach appears to balance a large battery with a relatively sleek frame for everyday use.
On the software side, the Realme 16 Pro is expected to run Realme UI 7 based on Android 16. Realme has confirmed that the 16 Pro series will receive three Android OS updates and four years of regular security patches. Stay tuned to Gizbot for all the details surrounding the Realme 16 Pro series.
