Realme is preparing to launch the Realme 16T 5G in India on May 22, 2026, with a strong focus on AI-powered photography and long battery life. Ahead of the official debut, the company has confirmed several camera features, including a Sony primary sensor, AI portrait tools, and creative editing modes aimed at users who frequently create social media content.

Realme 16T 5G Launch Details and Expected Pricing

The Realme 16T 5G is scheduled to launch in India on May 22, 2026. Following the announcement, the smartphone will be available through Flipkart, the company's official website, and offline retail stores across the country.

While Realme has not yet confirmed the official pricing, the smartphone is expected to target the upper mid-range segment considering its AI-focused camera setup and large battery. We expect the Realme 16T price in India to start from anywhere between Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000.

Realme 16T 5G Confirmed and Expected Specifications

Realme has confirmed that the Realme 16T 5G will feature a 50MP Sony IMX852 primary rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture. The camera setup uses Realme's LumaColor IMAGE Engine, which adjusts skin tone, texture, highlights, and shadows while also reducing lens distortion using RAW HDR processing.

The smartphone will also include AI Portrait Glow, offering effects such as Flash, Rim Light, Natural Light, and Studio Light for improved portraits in difficult lighting conditions.

For creative editing, the device supports AI Popout Collage, AI StyleMe avatar generation, and AI Instant Clip, which can automatically turn selected photos and videos into short cinematic clips within seconds.

Another confirmed highlight is the massive 8000mAh battery, which is expected to support long photography sessions, AI editing tools, gaming, and video consumption throughout the day. The phone is also expected to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC. It could also feature a 120Hz AMOLED display.

The Realme 16T 5G will also feature a rear-mounted selfie mirror that allows users to take selfies using the main camera sensor for improved image quality.
