Realme 16x 5G Launched in India with MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC: Check Price, Specifications, Features

Realme has launched the Realme 16x 5G in India, targeting buyers who prioritise long battery life, durability and everyday performance. The new smartphone is scheduled to go on sale from August 13 through Flipkart, realme.com and offline retail stores.

The biggest highlight of the Realme 16x 5G is its 7,000mAh battery, paired with 45W fast charging. Despite the large battery, the phone measures 8.8mm in thickness and weighs 217 grams. Realme is also promising six years of battery health and 60 months of system fluency.

Realme 16x 5G Specifications and Features

The Realme 16x 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G chipset, based on a 6nm process. It comes with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

On the front, the phone features a 6.8-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel can reach up to 1,200 nits of brightness and is protected by Panda Glass.

The smartphone also features an ArmorShell build and carries MIL-STD-810H certification for durability. An IP65 rating provides protection against dust and water splashes.

On the software front, the Realme 16x 5G runs Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16. The software includes AI-powered features such as Google Gemini Live, AI Notes Assistant and AI Image Eraser.

For photography, the Realme 16x 5G gets a 50-megapixel primary rear camera, accompanied by a secondary rear sensor. For selfies and video calls, there is an 8-megapixel front camera housed inside a punch-hole cutout.

The 7,000mAh battery supports 45W fast charging and bypass charging, which routes power directly to the motherboard during supported usage scenarios to help reduce heat. The phone also supports 6.5W reverse wired charging, allowing users to charge compatible accessories.

The Realme 16x price in India starts at ₹25,999. The company is offering launch discounts through bank offers and exchange bonuses.

The 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is priced at ₹25,999, while the 6GB + 128GB model costs ₹27,999. The top-end 6GB + 256GB variant is priced at ₹30,999. After applicable launch offers, the effective prices are ₹23,999, ₹25,999 and ₹28,999, respectively.
