Realme 3 Pro October OTA Update: Dark Mode, Security Patch, Game Optimizations, And More

Realme is now rolling out an October software update for the Realme 3 Pro devices. The new OTA update comes within a month of the previous firmware update and will follow a staged rollout. The new OTA update- RMX1851EX_11_A.20 has a size of 2.74GB, and will introduce October security patch, Dark mode, Game optimizations and several new features to Realme 3 Pro units.

The company mentioned that it will push the OTA update for a broader rollout in a few days after making sure there are no critical bugs. If the users don't face any bugs with the new OTA update, the full roll out will be completed in the upcoming days.

To check if your Realme 3 Pro unit has received the new OTA update, simply go to Settings > About Phone > Software > Check for update. Fret not if you haven't received an update notification as the company is rolling out the update in installments.

We reviewed the Realme 3 Pro in April 2019. Realme 3 Pro sports a 6.3-inches Full HD+ IPS LCD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The smartphone features snappier chipset-GPU combination- Snapdragon 710 octa-core CPU paired with Adreno 616 graphical processing unit.

 

As far as cameras are concerned, the Realme 3 Pro flaunts a 16MP+5MP dual-lens camera setup. The camera can record 4k videos and can also shoot super slow motion videos at staggering 960 fps. The primary camera works on a Sony IMX519 sensor with F/1.7 aperture lens. The same sensor powers the camera on the OnePlus 6T.

The Realme 3 Pro is backed by a massive 4,045 mAh battery unit. A dedicated microSD card slot is offered along with the standard 3.5mm headphone jack.
