Realme 5S Listed On Geekbench

The Realme 5S has shown up on Geekbench with RMX1925 model number. The hardware suggested by the listing includes an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor with 1.8GHz clock speed. The handset is listed with Android Pie OS which we expect to be paired with a Color OS user interface.

The device is spotted with 4GB RAM, however, the storage configuration is unspecified. But, we can expect at least a 64GB storage option. Coming to the benchmark scores, the Realme 5s scored 314 points in the single-core test and 1386 points in the multi-core tests.

The Geekbench listing doesn't confirm any specific hardware features besides the processor and software version. However, the Flipkart listing gives us a fair idea of the hardware we should expect. Starting with the display, the Realme 5S is said to come with a 6.5-inch HD+ display which is slightly bigger than the standard Realme 5.

The display is likely to sport a waterdrop notch housing the selfie camera. Currently, there is no information available on the selfie camera. As for the rear-cameras, the device is confirmed to offer four sensors including a 48MP primary lens.

The remaining sensors are yet to be revealed, but we can expect the usual ultra-wide-angle sensor, a macro sensor, and a depth sensor. The Flipkart teaser of the Realme 5S also revealed a big 5,000 mAh battery but didn't specify any fast charging support.

So, whether it ships with VOOC or SuperVOOC flash charge remains a mystery till the official launch. Lastly, the device is expected to be priced under Rs. 15,000 and will be competing against the like of the Redmi Note 8, Moto G8 Plus, and the Oppo A9 2020.
