It looks like the Realme X2 Pro is not the only phone that the company might launch on November 20. Teasers on Flipkart have almost confirmed the launch of the Realme 5s -- a new budget 48MP quad-camera smartphone.

Realme 5s Might Replace Realme 5, Boast 48MP Primary Camera

Though the teaser image does not reveal the actual specifications of the Realme 5s, it does confirm that the device will be an entry-level model.

Realme 5s Possible Specifications

The Realme 5s is likely to come with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen possibly with HD+ resolution with 2.5D curved tempered glass protection. As the majority of the newly launched Realme smartphones, the Realme 5s is likely to have a water-drop style notch with minimal bezels.

The smartphone is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 or the Snapdragon 665 SoC with at least 3GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage. The device will launch with Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.0 skin on top.

The Realme 5s camera-array could house a 48MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. Plus, the device is expected to come with a 16MP selfie camera with support for face unlock.

A 4,000 mAh battery is likely to power the smartphone with support for 10W fast charging. Being an entry-level phone, it might feature a micro USB port with a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Proposition Behind The Realme 5s?

The Realme 5s is expected to be pitted against the Redmi Note 8, which has a quad-camera setup with a 48MP primary setup. The Realme 5s is likely to replace the Realme 5, which also has a quad-camera setup but with a 12MP primary camera.

Considering the specifications, the Realme 5s is expected to retail for Rs. 9,999 (base variant) making it an affordable 48MP camera smartphone from Realme.
