Realme C53 affordable smartphone with 108 MP Camera launching in India on July 19

Realme is launching a new smartphone in its C series in India soon. The Realme C53 is set to make its debut in India next week and follows the recent launch of the Realme Narzo 60 Series 5G. To recall, the Realme C53 was unveiled in Malaysia last month.

The Realme C53 will debut as an affordable 4G smartphone and will likely sit under the Realme C55, which currently starts from Rs 10,999 in India. Realme has also teased several details about the C53, building up to its launch.

The Realme C53 launch in India is taking place on July 19 at 12:00 pm (IST). A dedicated page for the Realme C53 also already been listed on Flipkart and Realme's official website.

According to the page, the Realme C53 is will feature a dual-rear camera setup on the back that is headlined by a 108 MP "Ultra Clear" primary camera. The sensor is said to be 79.37% larger than the previous generation.

Additionally, Realme also noted that the 108 MP primary sensor offers 118.2% resolution improvement in the "high-pixel mode" and delivers a 100% "resolution boost" when taking 3x zoom shots. As of now, there is no information about the second sensor, although it will likely be a portrait or AI lens.

Realme C53 Specifications (Expected)

Realme has also confirmed that its upcoming budget phone will pack a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The phone is also expected to feature a sleek design, measuring just 7.99mm thick.

The Realme C53 will feature a 6.74-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The touch sampling rate is 180Hz for responsive touch interactions. The front-facing camera is 8MP and located in a teardrop notch. The smartphone will also incorporate iPhone's Dynamic Island-like system for notifications called "mini capsule.

The Realme C53 is expected to be powered by the Unisoc T612 SoC paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. The Realme C53 has already been teased in a Champion Gold colour option.
