Realme C61 Set to Launch on June 28 in India; Flipkart Microsite Goes Live

Realme is all set to unveil a new C-series handset dubbed the Realme C61 this week in India. The upcoming smartphone was recently spotted on the BIS certification listing. Now, a dedicated microsite has gone live on Flipkart, revealing its launch date and a few details of the phone.

The Realme C61 is confirmed to launch on June 28 in India. Following the launch, the phone can be purchased via Flipkart. The e-commerce site also reveals the design of the phone. Let's dive into the details.

Realme C61: What to Expect?

The Flipkart listing confirms the upcoming Realme C61 will come with the TUV Rheinland certification and a metallic frame. The phone will also feature an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. Beyond this, the Flipkart listing does not reveal any other details. However, the FCC listing confirmed that the Realme C61 will pack a 5000 mAh battery. On the software front, it will run Android 14-based Realme UI.

The Realme C61 will support LTE, WiFi 5 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth, NFC, and GPS for connectivity. It is expected to measure 167.26 × 76.67 × 7.84mm and weigh 188 grams.

On the other hand, renders, specifications, and India pricing have been revealed via a report (PassionateGeekz). The phone is said to come with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM. For imaging, it could feature a 50MP camera. Other aspects might include a 45W charging, dynamic button and air gestures. As far as the price is concerned, the Realme C61 is expected to come under Rs 10,000 segment.

Interestingly, the renders show a different back design than Flipkart's teaser. So, there is a chance the international variant might look different from the Indian variant. It's better to take it with a pinch of salt and stay tuned for the official launch on June 28.
