Realme C71 Launches in India with 6300mAh Battery, UNISOC Chipset, and Slim 7.94mm Body
Update: Realme has officially clarified that the Realme C71 is a 4G-only phone.
Realme has officially announced the launch of its latest budget smartphone — the Realme C71 5G — expanding its entry-level lineup in India. Priced from ₹7,699, the phone is positioned as a value-oriented option that combines extended battery life, a lightweight design, and basic 5G capabilities.

Key Hardware: UNISOC T7250 and 6300mAh Battery
At the center of the Realme C71 5G is the UNISOC T7250 octa-core chipset built on a 12nm process. It features Cortex-A75 and Cortex-A55 cores, paired with a Mali-G57 GPU, offering entry-level performance suitable for basic multitasking and media usage.

The phone is powered by a 6300mAh battery, which Realme claims can last up to two days on a single charge. It supports 6W reverse charging, allowing it to function as a power bank for other devices.
5G on a Budget with Android 15 and Realme UI
The C71 5G ships with Android 15-based Realme UI, and supports dynamic RAM expansion for improved multitasking on both its 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage configurations. Storage can be further expanded via microSD.
Slim Profile Despite Large Battery
Despite housing a large battery, the phone maintains a 7.94mm slim profile, making it one of the thinnest devices in this segment. The phone also includes a Pulse Light Design, featuring nine colors and five customizable glow modes that respond to calls, messages, and charging.
Audio and Durability Enhancements
The Realme C71 5G includes a 300% Ultra Volume Mode, supported by amplification algorithms to increase speaker output. Voice clarity is enhanced by AI Call Noise Reduction 2.0, which filters background noise during calls.
Durability is supported by Armor Shell protection and military-grade certifications, including a 1.8-meter drop test and a 33kg compression test, aimed at increasing physical resilience during daily use.
Cameras and AI Features
On the camera front, the phone has a 13MP rear sensor (Omnivision OV13B) with PDAF autofocus and an f/2.2 aperture, along with software features such as AI Eraser, Pro Mode, Clear Face, and Dual-view video. The 5MP front camera includes gesture-based capture and supports Full HD video.
Video modes include 1080p recording, Slow Motion, and Time-Lapse, available on both front and rear sensors.
Pricing, Variants, and Availability
The Realme C71 5G will be available in two configurations: a 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant priced at ₹7,699, which can be purchased through Flipkart, realme.com, and offline retail stores; and a 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant priced at ₹8,699, with a special bank offer bringing the effective price down to ₹7,999. The higher-end variant will be available exclusively online via Flipkart and realme.com.
Both models are expected to go on sale in India shortly after the official launch.
