realme C73 5G Launched in India with 120Hz Display, Military-Grade Build, and ₹10K Price Tag

Just weeks after launching the realme C75, the company has followed up with another budget-friendly 5G option, the realme C73 5G.

The new device has quietly made its debut in India and is now available via realme.com, Flipkart, and retail outlets.

Familiar Design, Rugged Credentials

At first glance, the C73 5G doesn’t stray far from the typical C-series design language. It features a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The body is IP64-rated for dust and splash resistance, and realme claims MIL-STD 810H military-grade durability thanks to its "ArmorShell Protection."

At 7.94mm thick and weighing 197g, it’s still compact enough for one-handed use, especially for a device that houses a massive 6000mAh battery. That battery is paired with 15W fast charging, which isn’t fast by today’s standards but is acceptable at this segment.

Camera Setup Focuses on Simplicity

The camera configuration is modest but interesting. The C73 5G includes a 32MP rear camera using a GALAXYCORE GC32E2 sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. There’s also an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

Powered by Dimensity 6300

Under the hood, the phone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, built on a 6nm process. It includes 4GB RAM, with up to 8GB virtual RAM via realme’s dynamic RAM expansion. Buyers can choose between 64GB or 128GB of storage, both based on UFS 2.2, and expandable up to 2TB via microSD.

On the software side, the phone ships with Android 15 out of the box, layered with realme UI 6.0. It’s one of the few budget phones to offer the latest Android version pre-installed.

Connectivity options include dual 5G (SA/NSA), Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.3, and USB-C, along with the usual GPS and GLONASS support.

Pricing and Availability

The realme C73 5G is priced at ₹10,499 for the 64GB variant, while the 128GB version costs ₹11,499. It’s available in three colors: Jade Green, Crystal Purple, and Onyx Black.

As part of the launch offer, realme is offering a ₹500 discount on purchases made via credit card EMI.
