Realme GT 5 Pro Display, Design, Battery Specifications Confirmed Ahead of Launch

Realme is gearing up to unveil its flagship smartphone next week. Since announcing the official launch date, Realme has been gradually teasing details about the Realme GT 5 Pro.

While we already know the Realme GT 5 Pro will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, new details have emerged about the smartphone's design and display.

Realme GT 5 Pro Launch Date

The Realme GT 5 Pro launch date in China is set for December 7 at 02:00 pm local time or 11:30 am IST. Realme's flagship smartphone will be available for purchase through JD.com and Tmall.

As of now, there is no official launch date, but we believe that the Realme GT 5 Pro will make its global debut in the first quarter of 2024. Now, look at the confirmed Realme GT 5 Pro specifications.

The most recent teaser by the brand confirms that the Realme GT 5 Pro will feature a 1.5K 8T LTPO Curved OLED display with a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, which is the same as the OnePlus 12 5G. The panel will feature an adaptive 144Hz refresh rate (0.5Hz - 144Hz).

The panel also features TÜV Rheinland Global Eye Protection 3.0 and 2160Hz high frequency PWM dimming. The teaser also reveals the design of the Realme GT 5 Pro, which appears to have a large circular camera island reminiscent of the Vivo X100 series. The phone also appears to feature a dark orange finish with a vegan leather finish.

Apart from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, the phone also features LPPDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The Realme GT 5 Pro also comes with a 12000 mm2 VC cooling area. The Realme GT 5 Pro will pack a 5,400 mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support.

For optics, the Realme GT 5 Pro will opt for a triple-camera setup on the back. However, Realme has only confirmed a 50 MP Sony IMX890 telephoto-periscope with OIS and EIS support and 120x zoom. The other camera sensors will include a 50 MP Sony LYT-808 primary sensor with OIS, an 8 MP ultrawide lens, and a 32 MP selfie camera.
