Realme GT 5 Pro Key Specs, Camera Hardware, Features Leak: Competing With Apple iPhone 15?

Realme is expected to launch the Realme GT Neo 6 in multiple markets but in India, the smartphone could launch as the Reamle GT 5 Pro. The flagship Android smartphone's key specs have leaked.

The Realme GT 5 Pro appears to be a no-compromise Android smartphone from Realme. And, the leaked camera hardware details suggest Realme is trying to compete with the upcoming Apple iPhone 15 series iOS smartphones.

Realme could launch the Realme GT Neo 6 in China soon. Some reports suggest Realme will launch the same smartphone, branded as the Realme GT 5 Pro outside China, including India.

Key specifications of the Realme GT 5 Pro | Neo 6 have leaked from China. Prolific and reliable Weibo account Digital Chat Station / Digital Chatter has claimed that Relame is embedding a powerful periscope zoom camera in the Realme GT 5 Pro.

The Weibo account has further stated that the Periscope Zoom Camera system will have OmniVision OV64B 64 MP sensor. The entire rear camera will be able to offer real-time, actual 3x zoom.

It is rather odd that Realme could manage only 3x zoom, especially when multiple smartphone manufacturers and imaging hardware companies have managed to cram cameras with 5x or even 10x real-time zoom. Hence, it is possible the account holder may have mistyped.

Moving beyond the periscope camera, the primary camera on the Realme GT 5 Pro | Neo 6 is tipped to be backed by a Sony IMX9 series 1/1.4" sensor with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization).

Incidentally, the upcoming OnePlus 12 is tipped to have the exact same camera hardware. However, OnePlus will undoubtedly be able to flaunt the Hasselblad branding and finetuning. Regardless, if the Realme GT 5 Pro | Neo 6 is priced lower than the OnePlus 12, smartphone photography enthusiasts can turn to the Realme smartphone without a second thought.

Realme is expected to embed at least a 5000mAh capacity battery inside the GT 5 Pro smartphone, with support for either 150W or 240W wired fast charging.
