Realme GT 5 Promo Posters Confirm Design, Final Specs Before Launch: 5240mAh Battery, 240W Charging, And More

Realme has finally lifted the veil off its latest flagship Android smartphone before it launches next week. The Realme GT 5 appears to be a visually stunning and feature-packed flagship Android smartphone.

Realme GT 5 Has A "Liquid Metal Flowing Silver Mirror" Design, SD 8 G2 SoC

Smartphone manufacturers have been trying hard to bring back the flair and "wow" factor in smartphones for quite some time now. Realme appears to have done a commendable job with the Realme GT 5 in the looks department.

According to the official posters, the Realme GT 5 will feature a "Flowing Silver Mirror" design. Essentially, the smartphone has a silver-colored "liquid metal" shiny appearance. The triple rear camera island is housed inside a glass cover, which also protects the LED flash and the iconic LED ring.

Realme has printed "Snapdragon 8 Gen 2" inside the signature LED ring, which confirms the Realme GT 5 will be powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. It is not clear if Realme has managed to secure the upgraded and slightly overclocked "Snapdragon for Galaxy" chipset capable of hitting 3.36 GHz.

Realme claims the camera island has a "micro-suspension penetrating design". Speaking about the glass used for Realme GT 5, Realme also posted the image of the display that reveals an ultra-narrow flat screen.

The highlight of the Realme GT 5 smartphone's display it seemingly bends and integrates with the chassis without any brackets. Realme has boasted the frame is as narrow as 1.46mm.

Realme appears to be taking on the mighty Apple iPhone by claiming the Realme GT 5 has a Pro-XDR high dynamic display. The brand claims the display "restores the look and feel of light and dark content using a flagship algorithm, offering up to 8 times increase in brightness."

Realme GT 5 Confirmed Specifications, Features

Realme has been teasing the Realme GT 5 for a few days now. So far, the brand has confirmed Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, up to 24GB LPDDR5X RAM, up to 1TB UFS4.0 storage, Whirlwind Memory Engine 2.0, and a dedicated X7 display chip that assures a consistent 144Hz gaming experience.

Realme has repeatedly stressed that the Realme GT 5 will be able to recharge at a speed of 240W and it is the world's first mass-produced smartphone with such capabilities.

Other promotional posters of the Realme GT 5 confirm the smartphone has a dedicated SuperVOOC S chip, as well as an iteration of the smartphone with 150W wired fast charging support and a larger 5240mAh battery.

Realme GT 5 Launch And Availability

Realme has confirmed it will launch the Realme GT 5 on August 28, 2023. The brand has already confirmed the metallic silver color option. It is possible there could be a couple more colors.

Realme is expected to restrict the availability of the Realme GT 5 to China, at least for the next few weeks. Some reports suggest the brand could launch the flagship Android smartphone in India during Diwali.
