Realme has announced the launch date of the Realme GT 5, and released multiple posters highlighting its features, which include the "World's First Miracle Glass" back panel.
The Realme GT 5 will launch on August 28, 2023. Let's look at the latest official and tipped specifications, features, expected price, and availability of the latest flagship Android smartphone from Realme.

Realme GT 5 Is World's First Miracle Glass Android Smartphone
Realme's official Weibo account posted multiple posters confirming the arrival of the Realme GT 5. The flagship Android smartphone will launch on August 28th in China at 2 PM local time (11.30 am IST).
Along with the launch date, Realme also offered some images of the Realme GT 5 with the caption "Leapfrog," which appears to be the theme of the smartphone as it is packed with a few industry-first features such as 24GB RAM and a Miracle Glass panel.

Chuchu Jessie, Marketing Director of Realme China, posted on Weibo about the Realme GT 5, stating the upcoming mobile phone will be the world's first "Miracle Glass" phone.
It is not immediately clear if Jessie is referring to the front display or the back panel. If it is the screen then the Realme GT 5 could sport a wraparound glass that flows beyond the front of the smartphone.

It is quite likely the MD was hinting at the back glass of the smartphone. Some rumors suggest Realme GT 5 will have a textured, color-changing, or tougher-than-usual back glass on the Realme GT 5.
Realme GT 5 Confirmed And Rumored Specifications, Features
The Realme GT 5 will be one of the first few Android smartphones with a whopping 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage space, which would be paired with the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
There could be entry and middle-level models with 12GB and 16GB RAM, which would be paired with 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of internal storage.

Recent reports have suggested the Realme GT 5 will feature a 6.74-inch OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and 2160 PWM dimming. Realme claims its upcoming Android smartphone is Gold of War and King of Android performance.
Previous leaks have claimed the Realme GT 5 will have a 16MP front camera and a triple rear camera headlined by a 50MP lens backed by the flagship grade Sony IMX890 sensor. There would be an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a multi-LED flash on the back.
The entry-level model of the Realme GT 5 is expected to pack a 5200mAh battery, which would support 150W wired fast charging, while the top-end model would get a slightly smaller 4600mAh battery, which would support 240W wired fast charging.
The promotional posters of the Realme GT 5 seem to indicate the smartphone will sport a plastic frame instead of a metallic one.
