Realme GT 6 Launch in India Confirmed: Expected to Debut as Rebranded Realme GT Neo 6

Realme's GT series is making a major comeback in India. The brand recently released the Realme GT 6T in India, while also confirming the launch of the Realme GT 7 Pro in the country.

Now, the brand has confirmed the launch of the Realme GT 6 in India. Realme recently uploaded a post on X revealing that the upcoming Realme GT 6 will debut as a flagship killer and offer "cutting-edge AI technology."

Realme GT 6 India Launch: What to Expect

As of now, no official launch date has been provided by the Chinese smartphone maker. However, tipster Abhishek Yadav believes the Realme GT 6 launch in India will take place sometime next month, which is June 2024.

Apart from India, the Realme GT 6 will also be unveiled in the Philippines, Poland, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Malaysia, Mexico, Indonesia, Italy, Spain, and other countries. Speaking to Forbes, Realme CEO Sky Li said the company aims to deploy its AI technologies across the entire product lineup.

We also believe the Realme GT 6 will be a rebranded version of the Realme GT Neo 6, considering the Realme GT 6T featured the same design and specification as the Realme GT Neo 6 SE.

Realme GT Neo 6 Specifications

The Realme GT Neo 6 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The GT Neo 6 boasts a sizable 6.78-inch 1.5K 8T LTPO AMOLED screen from BOE, featuring Pro-XDR display technology and a range of display enhancements.

The panel sports an adaptive refresh rate between 0.5-120Hz. The display on the Realme GT Neo 6 features a peak brightness of 6,000 nits and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. In terms of battery life, the phone packs a substantial 5500mAh battery with support for blazing-fast 120W SuperVOOC fast charging.

The Realme GT Neo 6 features a versatile camera setup, with a 50MP rear camera equipped with a Sony IMX882 sensor and OIS support along with an 8MP ultra-wide camera. On the front, there's a 32MP selfie camera for capturing selfies. The Realme GT Neo 6 runs Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0 custom skin out of the box.
