Realme GT 7 Pro Racing Edition Launched With Snapdragon 8 Elite and BOE S2 OLED Display; Check Specs, Price
As promised, Realme has announced the GT 7 Pro Racing Edition in China, an affordable performance-focused alternative to the original GT 7 Pro, which debuted last year.
The Realme GT 7 Pro Racing Edition focuses on gaming and speed and is powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset which also powers the original GT 7 Pro. However, the Racing Edition differs in terms of display and camera features. Let's take a look at its detailed specifications and pricing.

Realme GT 7 Pro Racing Edition Specifications
In terms of specs, the Realme GT 7 Pro Racing Edition has a 6.78-inch micro-quad-curved BOE S2 OLED display, while the original GT 7 Pro features a Samsung Eco² OLED Plus display. The Racing Edition comes with a 120Hz refresh rate, 6,000 nits peak brightness HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support.
Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, the phone is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. It also includes 11,480mm² dual-chamber vapour cooling system. On the software front, it runs on Android 14 with Realme UI 6.
Moreover, it packs a 6,500mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging and bypass charging to reduce heat during gaming sessions. For optics, there is a 50MP Sony IMX896 main sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide OV08D10 sensor. It misses out on a dedicated periscope lens, which is available on the original GT 7 Pro. Upfront, it gets a 16MP Samsung S5K3P9 selfie camera.
The GT 7 Pro Racing Edition also features an optical in-display fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, a large X-axis linear motor, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and IP68/IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
Realme GT 7 Pro Racing Edition Price and Availability
The Realme GT 7 Pro Racing Edition price in China starts at 3,099 CNY (around Rs 36,794) for the 12GB/256GB variant, making it the most affordable phone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC.
On the other hand, the 16GB/256GB version is priced at 3,399 CNY (around Rs 40,358), 3,699 CNY (around Rs 43,999) for the 12GB/ 512GB model, and the 16GB/512GB variant will cost you 3,999 CNY (around Rs 47,581). The phone comes in Neptune Explorer Edition (blue) and Star Trail Titanium colours. However, there's no information on whether Realme has any plan to bring this Racing Edition outside China.
