Realme GT 8 Pro to Feature Robot-like Camera Design, 200MP Telephoto, and 2K Display
Realme is gearing up to launch the GT 8 series in China in October. The next-gen lineup will most likely include two models - the Realme GT 8 and the GT 8 Pro. The brand has already started teasing the design of the next-gen flagships. Now, Realme has confirmed the camera and display specs of the GT 8 Pro. Here's everything we know so far!
Realme GT 8 Pro Camera Specs Revealed
The upcoming Realme GT 8 Pro will sport a redesigned triple rear camera module that breaks away from the usual square or circular layouts, giving it a robot-like appearance. The setup is expected to include two circular lenses alongside a square periscope telephoto unit. The telephoto camera will be a 200MP sensor, which will be paired with two 50MP lenses.
Moreover, the GT 8 Pro will sport a 2K display, an upgrade over the 1.5K panel featured on the GT 7 Pro. Reports suggest the next-gen GT model will get a 6.78-inch flat AMOLED display from BOE, with 2K resolution, slim bezels, and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.
The phone is tipped to come with IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance, dual 115E speakers, and an X-axis linear motor. Also, it's expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC and include a 32MP selfie camera and a 7,000mAh battery with 120W charging.
Coming to the standard GT 8, which is expected to get a smaller 6.6-inch display. It could pack the same battery and processor as the Pro model. However, there is no confirmation regarding the same, so we'd suggest our readers take it with a pinch of salt.
