Realme GT Neo 6 SE Launching Soon with Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 Chipset: What To Expect?
Realme is gearing up to unveil a new smartphone in its GT series in China. The Chinese smartphone maker recently teased the launch of the Realme GT Neo 6 SE in the country.
And while the official launch date is yet to be announced, new information has emerged about the Realme GT Neo 6 SE's chipset. According to an official post on Weibo, the Realme GT Neo 6 SE will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC.

Realme GT Neo 6 SE Chipset Details Confirmed
The Realme GT Neo 6 SE launch in China is expected to take place during the end of March or beginning of April 2024. The handset will succeed, the Realme GT Neo 5 SE and will be among the first to use the new Snapdragon chip, following the OnePlus Nord CE 4 5G.
According to Realme, the new Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset will offer a major bump in performance over the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC. Realme is calling it a little version of the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip.
The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC features one Cortex X4 core clocked at 2.9GHz, four Cortex A720 cores clocked at 2.6GHz, and three Cortex A520 cores clocked at 1.9GHz. It is also equipped with an Adreno 732 GPU.
Realme GT Neo 6 SE: What to Expect?
Apart from the chip, the Realme GT Neo 6 SE is expected to sport a 1.5K OLED display with an adaptive 120Hz or 144Hz refresh rate. The panel could use LTPO technology for an adaptive refresh rate. The phone may also pack a large 5,500 mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging support.
The rumor mill also suggests that the Realme GT Neo 6 SE will have a triple-camera setup. As of now, details about the handset are still under wraps, although it will excel in performance, particularly considering just how fast the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chip on the Poco F5 5G was.
