Realme Narzo 100x Launched In India With 8,000mAh Battery

Realme has a new phone out, and this time the pitch is simple: forget flashy cameras or ultra-thin bodies, just give people a phone that lasts. The Narzo 100x enters the budget segment with an 8,000mAh battery as its main selling point, backed by a Dimensity 6300 chipset and a 144Hz display. Pricing starts at Rs 20,999.

What You're Paying For

Realme has split the Narzo 100x into three variants. The entry-level 4GB + 128GB model costs Rs 20,999, the 6GB + 128GB version is priced at Rs 22,999, and if you want the top-end 6GB + 256GB configuration, that'll set you back Rs 24,999.

There are a few launch offers too. Buyers get an instant Rs 2,000 off through select bank cards, plus another Rs 500 off with a coupon. The phone will be up for grabs on Amazon from July 22, at 12 PM, in Flash Orange and Midnight Black.

Battery Life Is The Whole Point

Let's talk about what actually matters here. That 8,000mAh cell is genuinely large for this price bracket, and Realme is positioning it as good for multiple days of use depending on how heavily you use the phone. Charging comes in at 45W, and there's reverse charging thrown in too, so you can top up other gadgets if needed. On paper, this puts the Narzo 100x in the same conversation as the iQOO Z11x and the OnePlus N6, two phones that also lean heavily on battery as their pitch.

Display Takes A Slight Hit

Here's where things get a bit more complicated. The Narzo 100x uses a 6.8-inch HD+ LCD panel instead of a Full HD+ one, something that would've been unusual a year or two back. Refresh rate goes up to 144Hz, and peak brightness is rated at 1,200 nits, so it's not a bad screen by any means, but the resolution downgrade is largely a byproduct of rising memory and component costs hitting the entire industry right now, not just Realme.

Chip, Software, And Cooling

Power comes from MediaTek's Dimensity 6300, paired with an ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. RAM tops out at 6GB of LPDDR4x, and storage goes up to 256GB of UFS 2.2. Software-wise, it's Realme UI 7.0 running on Android 16, with two years of OS updates and three years of security patches promised. Realme has also added a 5,300mm² AirFlo VC cooling setup to help the phone stay cooler during longer gaming stretches.

Cameras And AI Tools

The rear setup is fairly basic, a 50MP main sensor with a secondary lens alongside it, and an 8MP camera up front for selfies. What's more interesting is the AI toolkit bundled in, including AI Eraser 2.0, AI Ultra Clarity, AI Unblur, and AI Portrait Glow, all meant to make casual editing easier without needing a separate app.

Other Bits Worth Knowing

The phone also comes with IP65 water and dust resistance, military-grade durability certification, and an AI Pulse Light LED strip on the back, which is more of a cosmetic touch than anything functional.

Worth Buying?

The clearest comparison here is the OnePlus N6, which costs more at Rs 22,999 despite offering a similar 8,000mAh battery and comparable performance through its Dimensity 6360 Apex chip. That alone makes the Narzo 100x the better value option if battery life is your main concern.

This isn't a phone built to impress on paper across every spec. But if you're someone who's tired of charging your phone daily, whether that's because of long commutes, travel, or just heavy usage through the day, the Narzo 100x is built specifically with you in mind.
