realme NARZO 80 Lite 5G Launched in India: Check Price, Specifications

Basic Performance Backed by MediaTek Dimensity 6300

The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300, a relatively new entry-level 5G chipset built on a 6nm process. It has a peak clock speed of 2.4GHz and is paired with either 4GB or 6GB RAM, depending on the variant. realme also offers virtual RAM expansion up to 18GB, though its impact on performance will vary based on usage.

On benchmarks like AnTuTu, the chip scores over 410,000, which puts it in the ballpark for typical day-to-day tasks like streaming, social media, and lightweight gaming. It’s not meant for heavy use, but that’s not the phone’s aim either.

6000mAh Battery With Reverse Charging

One of the phone’s key features is its 6000mAh battery, which realme claims can offer over 46 hours of talk time or nearly 18 hours of Instagram browsing. While real-world results will differ, the large battery should easily last most users well over a day.

It also supports reverse charging at 5W, allowing it to top up other devices in a pinch, although this is more of a backup option than a practical daily feature.

120Hz Display, But It’s LCD

The phone features a 6.56-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It maxes out at 625 nits brightness, which is decent for indoor use but may struggle under direct sunlight. There’s also DC dimming, a paper-like reading mode, and a bedtime-friendly display configuration, making it more comfortable for long reading or scrolling sessions.

The display tech won’t wow anyone, but the inclusion of 120Hz at this price point helps the UI feel snappier and more fluid during basic use.

Built for Basic Durability

One area where the NARZO 80 Lite 5G stands out slightly is its physical design. realme has added what it calls Armorshell Tough Build, which includes reinforced corners, internal airbag-style shock absorption, and claimed military-grade drop resistance. It’s rated IP64, so it can handle basic water splashes and dust without issue.

There’s also support for Rainwater Smart Touch, which helps the touchscreen remain responsive when wet—a minor feature, but useful in a country with long monsoon seasons.

Cameras, Software, and Everyday Use

The rear camera is a 32MP AI shooter, paired with realme’s standard photography software. It supports AI Clear Face for improving portraits and integrates Google Gemini for voice-based assistance and contextual suggestions.

The phone runs realme UI 6.0, based on Android 14. It features a slightly tweaked visual layout, dynamic wallpapers, and reorganized settings—but overall, the interface remains largely the same as previous versions.

Internal storage is capped at 128GB, which should suffice for most users at this level. There’s no confirmation on microSD expansion.

A Few Practical Additions

  • 300% Ultra Volume Mode: Boosts speaker output significantly, which might help in noisy environments.

  • AI Smart Signal Adjustment: Automatically optimizes network performance in low-signal areas like basements or elevators.

  • Form Factor: Despite the large battery, the phone weighs 197g and is 7.94mm thick, which is fairly reasonable for one-handed use.

Availability and Pricing

The NARZO 80 Lite 5G will be available in two variants:

  • 4GB + 128GB at ₹9,999 (after ₹500 discount)

  • 6GB + 128GB at ₹10,799 (after ₹700 discount)

First sale is scheduled for June 23 on Amazon.
