realme has introduced a new budget smartphone in India, the NARZO 80 Lite 5G, priced under ₹10,000 after discounts.

Basic Performance Backed by MediaTek Dimensity 6300

The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300, a relatively new entry-level 5G chipset built on a 6nm process. It has a peak clock speed of 2.4GHz and is paired with either 4GB or 6GB RAM, depending on the variant. realme also offers virtual RAM expansion up to 18GB, though its impact on performance will vary based on usage.

On benchmarks like AnTuTu, the chip scores over 410,000, which puts it in the ballpark for typical day-to-day tasks like streaming, social media, and lightweight gaming. It’s not meant for heavy use, but that’s not the phone’s aim either.

6000mAh Battery With Reverse Charging

One of the phone’s key features is its 6000mAh battery, which realme claims can offer over 46 hours of talk time or nearly 18 hours of Instagram browsing. While real-world results will differ, the large battery should easily last most users well over a day.

It also supports reverse charging at 5W, allowing it to top up other devices in a pinch, although this is more of a backup option than a practical daily feature.

120Hz Display, But It’s LCD

The phone features a 6.56-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It maxes out at 625 nits brightness, which is decent for indoor use but may struggle under direct sunlight.
