Realme Narzo 90, Narzo 90x Key Specifications Confirmed Ahead of Launch in India on December 16

Realme is preparing to launch the Realme Narzo 90 series in India on December 16. The lineup includes the Realme Narzo 90x and Realme Narzo 90, and Realme has already confirmed several major specifications for both smartphones.

Both Realme Narzo 90 series models will feature a 7,000mAh battery paired with 60W wired fast charging. Realme says these batteries aim at long online video streaming, with small differences in claimed playback time between the two phones.

Realme Narzo 90 Series Display, Design and Durability Details

The Realme Narzo 90 is confirmed to feature a display rated at 4,000 nits of peak brightness. Realme also lists IP66, IP68 and IP69 protection ratings for this model, suggesting resistance to dust, water and high-pressure jets.

The Realme Narzo 90x will come with a display that supports a 144Hz refresh rate. Realme states that this screen can reach 1,200 nits of brightness. The higher refresh rate suggests a focus on smooth scrolling and gaming performance for the Narzo 90x.

Realme Narzo 90 Series Cameras, Battery and AI Features

On the camera side, the Realme Narzo 90x will include a 50MP Sony primary rear sensor. The Realme Narzo 90 instead offers dual 50MP rear cameras. Realme has not yet detailed the exact roles of each sensor on the Narzo 90.

Realme claims the Realme Narzo 90 can deliver up to 24 hours of online video streaming on one charge. For the Realme Narzo 90x, the company quotes up to 23.6 hours of online video playback from a single full battery cycle.

The Realme Narzo 90x will also include AI Eraser and AI Ultra Clarity features. These tools are aimed at editing and enhancing photos using on-device processing. Realme has not confirmed whether the same AI features will appear on the Realme Narzo 90.

The Realme Narzo 90 series will go on sale in India after the December 16 launch event. Realme says both models will be available through Amazon India and Realme's official online store. Pricing and storage variants are yet to be announced.
