Realme Narzo N55 to Get 33W SuperVOOC Fast Charging

Realme's upcoming budget smartphone is confirmed to get 33W SuperVOOC fast charging, as seen on the Amazon microsite. Ahead of its April 12 launch, the brand has been slowly revealing the specs over the past few days to drum up some excitement for the N55.

Realme Narzo N55 Charging Capacity

The Amazon landing page for the Realme Narzo N55 reveals that the smartphone will support 33W SuperVOOC fast charging via a USB Type-C port. The brand claims that the smartphone can be charged up to 50 percent in 29 minutes flat.

The company adds that the Narzo N55 has the fastest charging in the segment, referring to phones in a similar price range on Amazon. However, the price range has not been specified. There's no word on the battery capacity either. Some reports suggest that the smartphone will get a 5,00mAh battery.

Realme also promises fire safety, stating that the N55 has a fire-proof construction. In addition, the smartphone will feature a "5-core protection system." It's unclear what the system entails, as the details haven't been specified.

Realme Narzo N55 Features

Just yesterday, the design of the Narzo N55 was teased on Amazon. The device will come in Prime Blue and Prime Black colorways. The teaser images indicate the upcoming smartphone will feature a dual-toned rear with a glossy camera module.

The camera island includes two vertically stacked cameras alongside an LED flash. The N55 sports the volume and power buttons on the right-hand side. There's also a USB Type-C port for charging, a speaker grille, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Realme Narzo N55 will reportedly feature a 64MP main camera and a 16MP selfie shooter. As for the display, the smartphone could sport a panel with a refresh rate of 90Hz.

Past reports suggest that the low-end version of the Realme Narzo N55 will support 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The smartphone could also get a 6GB RAM + 64GB/128GB storage option. The high-end model is expected to feature 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
