After teasing it for several days, Realme has officially confirmed the launch date of the upcoming Neo 8 in China. The official teaser also reveals the front and back design of the handset. Here's everything you should know about the Realme Neo 8.
Realme Neo 8 Launch Date Announced
The Realme Neo 8 is scheduled to launch on January 22 in China. Those interested in watching the launch event live can tune in via the company's official Weibo handle. The phone is also confirmed to feature a Samsung 165Hz display with ultra-thin bezels.

The handset will be available in a Cyber Purple colour option, featuring a transparent design along with Realme's iconic Awakening Halo system.
Realme Neo 8 Features We Know So Far
The Realme Neo 8 is expected to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K Samsung AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. The smartphone is likely to run on Android 16 out of the box.
In terms of optics, the device is said to sport a 50MP main camera with OIS and up to 120x digital zoom via a periscope setup, along with a 16MP front camera. It is also tipped to pack a massive 8,000mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging support.
Other features include a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance, and a premium metal frame. As of now, there is no information regarding its pricing or global availability. However, rumours suggest that the device could arrive in India as the Realme GT 8.
