Realme Neo 8 Specifications: What We Know So Far
The Realme Neo 8 will use a Samsung Display M14 OLED screen with a 165Hz refresh rate. Realme states that peak brightness will reach up to 6,500 nits. The display reportedly offers an 8ms response time and aims to reduce strobe effects. Eye protection features are also part of the panel.
For security, Realme has confirmed an in-display 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. According to the company, this sensor can recognise fingerprints even with wet hands. The handset also includes an X-axis linear motor for stronger haptic feedback and a super-linear stereo speaker system for audio.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset is at the centre of the Realme Neo 8 performance claims. Realme says the device scores over 3.58 million points on the AnTuTu benchmark. AI tools such as AI one-click flash memory, AI live dialogue, and AI smart documents will be part of the software suite.
Power comes from an 8,000mAh battery, with Realme adding support for bypass charging. The brand claims up to five years of sustained battery performance. The phone also offers IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for protection against dust and water, which is uncommon at this price level.
The company has also detailed the Realme Neo8 camera hardware on Weibo. The rear setup is led by a 50MP Sony IMX896 primary sensor. The Realme Neo8 adds a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom, 7x lossless zoom and 120x digital zoom, plus an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 16MP front camera.
Realme confirms that the Neo 8 will debut in Cyber Purple, Mecha Grey, and Origin White finishes. Each colour option features a transparent back panel, revealing some internal design elements. The phone will also carry Crystal Armor Glass on the front for added screen protection.
