Realme Neo7 SE Launched with 7000mAh Battery, MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Max SoC, IP68+IP69 Rating

Realme has unveiled the Realme Neo7 SE, a new addition to its Neo series, in China. The smartphone features a 6.78-inch display with 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It offers up to 6000 nits peak brightness and ultra-narrow bezels measuring 1.49mm. The screen supports hardware-level full brightness DC-like dimming and a touch sampling rate of 2600Hz.

The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400-MAX SoC, marking its debut in this phone. It includes a large airflow cold front cooling system with a 7700mm² single VC, the largest in the industry, and Sky communication system 2.0. The rear camera setup consists of a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 16MP front camera.

Design and Build

The Realme Neo7 SE is available in three colours: Blue Mecha Edition, White Winged God of War, and Dark Armored Cavalry. The Blue Mecha Edition features a unique design with a 3D micro-convex mecha texture, fine carved lines, nails of faith, and contrasting power button colour.

This smartphone boasts IP69+IP68+IP66 ratings for dust and water resistance. It incorporates an armored anti-fall structure along with crystal armor glass for added protection. Additional features include Realme glove touch, wet hand touch, and waterproof bag touch capabilities.

Battery and Charging

The phone is equipped with a massive 7000mAh Titan battery from CATL that has an energy density of 800Wh/L. It supports 80W smart flash charging. Realme assures users that the battery will maintain over 80% health even after completing 1800 cycles or five years of usage.

Specifications include a display resolution of 2780×1264 pixels with an LTPO BOE S2 OLED panel supporting up to 6000 nits peak brightness. The screen also offers a high-frequency PWM dimming rate of 2600Hz and hardware-level DC dimming.

Performance and Storage

The device runs on an Octa-Core Dimensity 8400-MAX processor clocked at up to 3.25GHz paired with Mali-G720 GPU operating at 1.3GHz. It comes in configurations offering up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and storage options ranging from 256GB to as much as 1TB using UFS 4.0 technology.

Running on Android version 15 coupled with Realme UI version 6.0, it supports dual SIM (nano + nano) functionality alongside various connectivity options such as USB Type-C audio port, stereo speakers providing Hi-Res audio quality output among others.

Connectivity Features

The phone supports multiple network bands including SA/NSA for seamless connectivity across different regions globally while offering dual-band Wi-Fi support through Wi-Fi standard ax (Wi-Fi6). Bluetooth version stands at v5 .4 but will soon receive OTA updates upgrading it further into v6 .0 compatibility mode too!

Navigation systems supported include Beidou tri-band (B1I+B1C+B2a), GPS dual-band (L1+L5), GLONASS (G1), Galileo (E1+E5a), QZSS (L1+L5) along NFC capability ensuring smooth transactions wherever required without any hassle whatsoever!
