Realme P4 Series Launch Date in India Confirmed: Dual-Chip Architecture and Key Features Revealed

Realme has officially announced the launch of its new P4 series, which includes the Realme P4 Pro and Realme P4 smartphones. These devices will be available in India starting August 20th, 2025. The launch event is scheduled for 12:00 PM IST, and following this, the phones can be purchased on Flipkart and the official Realme India website.

The Realme P4 Pro stands out with its dual-chip design, featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor. This primary chip is built on a 4nm TSMC process and achieves an Antutu benchmark score exceeding 1.1 million. It manages general computing tasks and core application performance efficiently.

Dual-Chip Architecture

In addition to the Snapdragon processor, the Realme P4 Pro incorporates a dedicated HyperVision AI chipset powered by Pixelworks' X7 Gen 2 visual processor. This secondary chip focuses on visual computations such as graphics rendering and AI-based resolution enhancement. Realme claims that this setup allows for stable gameplay at 144FPS in over 100 supported games.

The standard Realme P4 model also features a dual-chip architecture but uses a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra 5G System-on-Chip (SoC) alongside a Pixelworks visual processor. This combination aims to deliver enhanced visuals and smoother gameplay at a more accessible price point within the mid-range market.

Design and Aesthetic Choices

The design philosophy of the Realme P4 series varies between models. The P4 Pro adopts a "Living Nature Design," featuring a back panel made from premium tech-wood material for durability and natural texture. It comes in three finishes: Birch Wood, Dark Oak Wood, and Midnight Ivy.

On the other hand, the Realme P4 embraces an industrial aesthetic known as "Metal Heart Design." This model showcases metallic lines with exposed screw details, conveying both durability and style. It is available in Steel Grey, Engine Blue, and Forge Red color options.

The HyperVision AI chip in the P4 Pro offers features like AI Hyper Clarity, AI Hyper Motion, and AI Always-On HDR. Additionally, it includes GT Performance Engine 3.0 for thermal management to ensure sustained performance during intensive tasks.

Realme has partnered with PerfDog to introduce a "Frame Generation Index" that provides users with real-time data on performance gains from Pixelworks hardware. This feature aims to enhance user experience by offering insights into device performance metrics.
