Realme teases new smartphone launch with periscope camera: Possibly Realme GT 5 Pro
Realme recently teased the launch of a new smartphone. The phone is expected to arrive in Realme's GT series and will likely feature a more premium specs sheet.
The teaser doesn't mention any details about the upcoming Realme smartphone, although it does reveal some details about the upcoming device. The poster reads, "not only max can zoom". Additionally, there's a photo of a triple-camera setup on the back.

Upcoming Realme Smartphone Launch
The upcoming Realme smartphone will feature periscope lens, which suggests the deive could be a flagship. To recall, the last Realme smartphone to offer a triple-camera setup on the back was the Realme X3 Super Zoom, which debuted as a mid-range smartphone.
The Realme X3 Super Zoom's rear camera setup consisted of a 64 MP primary sensor, an 8 MP ultrawide unit, an 8 MP periscope telephoto shooter with 5x optical zoom, and a 2 MP macro lens. As of now, the specifications of this unknown Realme smartphone are still under wraps.
The teaser reveals that the upcoming Realme smartphone will launch soon in global markets. Realme is expected to launch the GT 5 Pro in China and international markets soon. Tipster Digital Chat Station recently revealed the full specifications of the Realme GT 5 Pro.
Realme GT 5 Pro Specifications (Expected)
According to a post by the tipster on Weibo, the Realme GT 5 Pro will sport a 2K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and PWM DC dimming. Moreover, the phone is expected to feature a Snapdragon chipset paired with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
For optics, the Realme GT 5 Pro will likely feature a triple-camera setup with an unknown Sony IMX primary sensor. Moreover, the main camera will be paired with a 13 MP ultrawide unit and a 64 MP OV64B periscope lens with 3x optical zoom. The phone is also expected to pack a 5,400 mAh battery with 100W fast charging support.
The upcoming Realme 5 Pro will run Android 14 with the Realme UI 5.0 skin on top. Additionally, the phone is also expected to get an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance as well as an X-axis vibration motor for improve haptics.
