Realme Teases the Upcoming Realme GT 5 Pro: What to Expect
Realme, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, is gearing up for the launch of the Realme GT 5 Pro. While the official launch date is yet to be disclosed, Realme has begun teasing the device, suggesting that it may break cover in November or December.
Display and Performance
The Realme GT 5 Pro is anticipated to feature a 6.82-inch OLED curved display supplied by BOE, offering a remarkable 2K resolution and an impressive 144Hz refresh rate. This display will not only provide stunning visuals but also include an in-screen fingerprint sensor for added security.

Under the hood, the device is expected to be powered by the recently launched Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. This powerful chipset is likely to be paired with up to 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage, making it a performance beast. These specifications suggest that the device will be well-equipped to handle multitasking, gaming, and demanding applications with ease.
Photography Capabilities
The Realme GT 5 Pro is expected to excel in the camera department as well. The rear camera setup is rumored to consist of a 50MP primary camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto sensor. A recent leak suggests that the telephoto camera may feature a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor with 3x optical zoom, further enhancing its photography capabilities.
On the front, the device is expected to feature a 16MP or a 32MP camera for taking high-quality selfies.
Battery and Charging
In the era of fast-paced living, a robust battery is crucial, and the Realme GT 5 Pro aims to deliver. With a substantial 5,400mAh battery, users can expect extended usage on a single charge. What's more, this battery supports 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging, ensuring quick recharges.
To further enhance the gaming experience, the device is expected to feature a massive 10,000mm² VC heat dissipation system, preventing overheating during intense gaming sessions. This feature is bound to be appreciated by mobile gamers who demand top-notch performance.
Software and Pricing
The Realme GT 5 Pro is expected to be powered by Android 14 with Realme UI 5.0 on top. While the exact price has not been announced, the device is rumored to cost around 4,000 Yuan (approximately $550) in China.
