realme to Reveal Massive 15,000mAh Battery Smartphone With AC-Style Cooling on August 27
realme is set to make headlines again. After weeks of teasers, the company has confirmed that it will introduce a smartphone packing a massive 15,000mAh battery tomorrow, August 27, during its annual 828 Fan Festival. The device will also debut an unusual cooling system modeled after traditional air conditioners.

A Battery That Redefines Endurance
The star of the show is the 15,000mAh battery, which realme says can handle up to 18.45 hours of continuous video recording or 50 hours of video playback on a single charge. Put simply, a single charge could stretch out to more than five days of everyday use, at least on paper.
But there’s a catch. According to leaker Digital Chat Station, this extreme-battery prototype isn’t ready for mass production just yet. Instead, realme might rely on its earlier 10,000mAh concept phone for real-world production. That one, showcased last year, is reportedly closer to being a feasible commercial device.
Cooling Inspired by Air Conditioners
Equally interesting is realme’s new cooling system. The phone is said to feature a built-in fan that switches on like an air conditioner. The idea is that with a simple toggle, users can reduce internal temperatures by up to 6°C. Chase Xu, realme’s VP of global marketing, compared the process directly to flipping on an AC at home.
It’s a bold move in a market where most phones rely on passive cooling solutions. The question is whether buyers are ready for the trade-offs that come with integrating such hardware into a consumer-ready phone.
More Than Just the Battery
The company isn’t stopping there. Alongside the big-battery prototype, realme will also reveal the “realmow Fluffy Edition” at the same event. While details are scarce, it hints at realme’s growing interest in blending design experimentation with product launches.
