Realme has several Android smartphones in the midrange category, but the brand is now actively expanding in the budget and affordable segment as well. Realme has launched a new Realme V30 series comprising two devices: Realme V30 and the Realme V30T. These budget Android smartphones feature Dimensity 700 SoC, up to 8GB RAM, and are 5G enabled. It is not immediately clear why Realme has launched two Android smartphones under the Realme V30 series. The Realme V30 and V30T pack identical hardware.

Both Realme phones feature a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen. The 720p display panel has a peak brightness of 600 nits and a dew-drop notch that houses a 5MP camera.

Both devices are powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. The Realme V30 and the V30T ship with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. These devices feature a microSD card slot that can accommodate up to 1TB.

The Realme V30 and the V30T have the same dual-camera setup. There's a 13MP main camera, which is paired with an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The devices have a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies, video calls, and face unlock.

Realme has embedded a 5,000mAh battery in each of the devices, which supports 10W wired charging, which cannot be called "fast charging".

The Realme V30 and the V30T run Android 12 with a layer of Realme UI 3.0 on top. Both devices weigh 186 grams and have a thickness of 8.1mm. Both devices support 5G networks.

The Realme V30 and the V30T have been launched in China. Both phones are available in Dark Night and Dawn Gold color options.

The base model of the Realme V30, with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, costs CNY 1,099 (approx. ₹13,400), while the 8GB RAM variant sells for CNY 1,299 (approx. ₹15,900). The base variant of the Realme V30T with 6GB RAM variant and 128GB of storage costs CNY 1,299 (₹15,900), while the 8GB RAM model costs CNY 1,499 (approx. 18,300).

It is not immediately clear if Realme will launch the Realme V30 in India. However, as both devices support 5G networks, Realme could introduce these smartphones under the "Budget Android Smartphone" segment in India.
