Realme X2 With SD 730G Teaser Page Live On Flipkart; Launch Date Confirmed

Realme is gearing up for yet another smartphone launch in India. Following the Realme X2 Pro, the company is now set to bring the standard Realme X2 next month. The device is said to come with similar hardware as the Realme XT. However, it will be powered by a different processor. Now, a teaser page has gone live on Flipkart along with the official launch date and some specifications.

Realme X2 Teaser Page Live On Flipkart

The Realme X2 teaser page is live on Flipkart. The page suggests a launch on December 17 starting 12.30 pm. It is being said that the device could launch as a Flipkart-exclusive product. It is worth mentioning that the company is also expected to launch its first truly wireless earbuds called the Realme Buds Air at the event.

The Realme Buds Air have also been confirmed to feature an Apple AirPods-like design for a price of Rs. 4,999. Also, it has been tipped to come with support for wireless charging and be compatible with any Qi-standard wireless charger.

Besides, a Star Wars-themed Realme X2 page also went live on Flipkart recently indicating a special edition in the making. It remains to be seen if the company introduces this variant on December 17.

Realme X2 Specifications And Features

The Realme X2's Flipkart teaser page reveals a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution. A waterdrop notch can be seen in the teaser image. For imaging, the device will be equipped with a vertically-aligned quad-camera setup housing a 64MP primary sensor.

The remaining sensors listed on the Flipkart page include an ultra-wide-angle-sensor, a portrait lens, and an ultra-macro lens. There will be a 32MP camera up front to capture selfies.

The Realme X2 will be equipped with an upgraded Snapdragon 730G chipset which is based on 8nm architecture and is suitable for gaming. The Flipkart page also suggests an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication. The device will get its charge from a 4,000 mAh battery that will come with 30W VOOC Flash charge 4.0 tech.
