Realme X50 5G Smartphone With Dual Punch-Hole Display Confirmed
Realme has already confirmed that it is working on a 5G smartphone which will see the light of day this year. Madhav Seth, Chief Executive Officer, Realme India announced that the company is going to be the first brand in India to launch a 5G smartphone using Qualcomm SoCs in the country in 2020.
Now, it has been reported that Realme China CMO Xu Qi Chase has assured that the company will launch its first 5G phone - the X50 in China soon. The confirmation comes after the global launch of the Realme X2 Pro.
Chase confirmed that the smartphone will support standalone 5G network and non-standalone (SA/NSA) networks. The company has also teased the image of the smartphone which reveals that it will arrive with a dual punch-hole display which will house the front cameras. The feature is also seen on the Redmi K30 which is slated to launch next month in China.
Chipset maker Qualcomm has confirmed that it's going to host it 3-days long annual Snapdragon Technology Summit 2019 which is going to kick off on December 30. The company is going to introduce its latest flagship Snapdragon 865 SoC, the successor of Snapdragon 855 which was launch last year in December. The new Snapdragon 735 with 5G support is also expected.
Currently, this is the only information about the Realme X50 which are made available by the company. We can expect more information coming soon with TENAA certification which is yet to happen.
Meanwhile, last week the company launched its Realme X2 Pro smartphone for the Indian consumers. The smartphone is launch with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB ROM. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 29,999 and Rs. 33,999 respectively. The highlights of the Realme X2 Pro are 50W SuperVOOC Flash Charge, 90Hz AMOLED display, vapour cooling technology, and lot more.
