RedMagic 10S Pro Series Debuts with Built-In PC Emulator and Snapdragon 8 Elite
RedMagic has officially launched its latest gaming smartphones, the RedMagic 10S Pro and 10S Pro+, in China. These new flagships serve as successors to the RedMagic 10 Pro lineup and aim to offer high-end performance features geared specifically toward mobile gamers.
One of the standout features this time is a built-in PC emulator, which RedMagic claims is capable of running several games from platforms like Steam. If it works as promised, it could open the door to more desktop-style gaming experiences on mobile hardware.

Performance and Cooling
At the core of both phones is the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Edition, clocked up to 4.47GHz. Users can configure the devices with up to 24GB of LPDDR5T RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 Pro storage. On paper, this is top-tier hardware meant to support smooth gameplay and fast loading times.
To keep temperatures in check during long sessions, RedMagic has fitted the phones with a composite liquid metal cooling system, including a 23,000 RPM fan, a 3D VC cooling plate, and superconducting copper foil.
Display and Audio
The 10S Pro series uses a 6.85-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution, and up to 2000 nits peak brightness. It supports high-frequency PWM dimming at 2592Hz and DC dimming for better eye comfort.
Gamers will also find 520Hz shoulder triggers, stereo speakers with DTS:X Ultra, and dual X-axis linear motors for better haptics.
Cameras and Software
On the back, both phones feature a 50MP primary camera, an ultra-wide lens, and a macro camera. The 16MP front camera is placed under the screen using new-generation AI tech to improve image quality without a visible cutout.
The phones run on RedMagic AI OS 10.0, based on Android 15.
Battery and Charging
The 10S Pro+ comes with a 7500mAh battery and supports 120W fast charging, while the standard 10S Pro has a 7050mAh battery with 80W charging. Both promise to deliver fast top-ups with heavy usage in mind.
Availability
Prices in China start at around ¥4999 (~₹59,000), and the lineup includes several configurations, including a Mingchao Limited Edition coming in June. There's no word yet on international availability.
