Redmi 13 Launch Expected Soon; Better Than Redmi 12?
The Redmi 13 is expected to arrive soon as the successor of the last year's Redmi 12. The Redmi 13 smartphone was spotted on the FCC and the IMEI database.
However, the phone is listed with model number 24049RN28L, which doesn't end with "C" (for China), "G" (for global markets), or "I" (for India). So, it remains to be seen which markets will get the Redmi 13.

Redmi 13: What to Expect?
The Redmi 13 is expected to run on Android 14 OS with HyperOS 1.0 out of the box. Under the hood, the Redmi 13 is likely to get its power from the MediaTek Helio G88 chip, the same processor is available in the Redmi 12 4G model.
However, the Redmi 12 came with 18W charging, while the successor Redmi 13 is expected to pack 33W charging. The handset is also certified with 4,930 mAh battery, which should marketed as a capacity of 5,000 mAh.
Other features of the upcoming Redmi 13 are still unknown at this moment. We expect some upgrades in terms of camera, display, and storage configuration. To recall, the Redmi 12 is available in both 4G and 5G variants.
In terms of features, both variants of the Redmi 12 offer a 6.79-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,460 pixels) display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a peak brightness level of 450 nits.
The Redmi 12 5G was announced with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB onboard storage which is expandable up to 1TB with a microSD card slot.
For imaging, the Redmi 12 4G has a triple rear camera setup including a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro camera. Upfront it gets an 8MP selfie camera sensor placed into a punch-hole cutout.
If the brand follows the same launch timeline, we expect the Redmi 13 could arrive in August in India. However, it's better to take it as a hint and stay tuned for more updates on the same.
