Xiaomi recently launched the Redmi 13C series in India. The line-up featured two budget smartphones, the Redmi 13C and the Redmi 13C 5G. And now, the 4G version of the Redmi 13C is set to go on sale in India.

The Redmi 13C debuted as an entry-level smartphone with a 90Hz display, large battery, fast charging support, dual-camera setup, and MediaTek chipset. Here's everything you need to know about the Redmi 13C.

The Redmi 13C sale in India kicks off at 12 noon today via Amazon, Mi.com, and Xiaomi Retail. The Redmi 13C price in India starts from Rs 8,999 for the base 4GB/128GB model. Moreover, the phone also comes in 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB configurations that will set you back Rs 9,999 and Rs 11,499, respectively.

Customers who purchase the 4G variant of the Redmi 13C can avail a discount of Rs 1,000 using HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and SBI Bank credit and debit cards. The Redmi 13C is offered in Stardust Back and Strashine Green color options.

Redmi 13C Specifications

The Redmi 13C is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC paired with the Arm Mali-G52 GPU. The phone also comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of storage that is expandable up to 1TB. Additionally, up to 8GB of unused storage can be utilized as virtual RAM.

The Redmi 13C sports a 6.74-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. The panel features Gorilla Glass protection and is TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light and Flicker Free certified. The Redmi budget smartphone also packs a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.

For optics, the Redmi 13C boasts a dual-camera setup with a 50 MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2 MP macro unit with an f/2.4 aperture. Up front, there's an 8 MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. In terms of security, the phone supports Face Unlock and a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
